Ariela Feinzaig is a Costa Rican-Mexican Jewish visual artist residing in Tel Aviv, Israel. Working primarily in ceramics, painting, and drawing, her artistic practice is a response to a life shaped by displacement, layered identities, and spiritual migration. Her practice is intuitive and deeply symbolic, rooted in ancestral materials, such as clay, amate paper and natural fabrics, and processes that speak to individual experience and ancestral inheritance. Her central motif, a recurring square-faced figure acts as both mirror and myth; reflecting something personally true while also engaging with something universal and archetypal. She creates in order to understand what it means to belong—to herself, to a lineage, to a land, to the world—as she explores how symbolic language and ritual can hold our fractured identities.
